The Role - HR Advisor
We are looking to appoint a part time HR Advisor to join our head office team. Reporting to the Operations Director your key responsibilities will include:
Providing confidential HR advice to Directors and Senior Managers to ensure consistency, best practice and legality of people-related decisions
Proactively ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of all employees
Being the first point of contact for employee relations
Update HR policies, procedures and the employee handbook
Tracking and monitoring holidays, sickness etc.
Handle all HR correspondence
Work with the wider team to ensure good health and safety practices are adhered to
Ensuring one to ones and appraisals are conducted effectively with detailed notes and objectives
Overseeing internal recruitment and the onboarding process
Proactively identifying key HR initiatives to ensure that 3B maintains competitive advantage as an employer of choice
Coordinating the company fleet
Processing monthly payroll
The Person - HR Advisor
The ideal HR Advisor will hold the following essentials:
At least two years' experience working within HR
Experienced in using MS Office Suite including Excel & Word
Ability to maintain systems and procedures to a high standard of accuracy
Organised with ability to manage own workload
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship building and influencing skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Very thorough and pays close attention to detail
The following are desirable, but not essential:
Experience of operating within a multi-site environment
Qualified to CIPD level 5 or above
The Pay - HR Advisor
In reward for your skills and experience you will be offered a salary of £24,000-£28,000 pro rata plus 30 days holiday (including public holidays).
We're happy to discuss the exact working hours at interview stage but would be looking for around 25 hours per week. If workload demands it we'd be happy to increase the hours over time. Our full time hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
