My client are a newly established contractor based in the North West. The company is going from strength to strength and have a requirement for a HR Advisor to join them in their offices based near Warrington.
The company deliver a mix of commercial, residential and leisure facilities, with 4 major projects in progress and an impressive order book for future projects.
You will be responsible for providing HR Support and advice to the business and maintaining administration procedures to ensure HR provide an efficient, effective and responsive service to the business.
" Implement new HR Systems " Take charge of the recruitment processes, sift through CV's and liaise with 3rd parties " Develop new starter packs " Maintain Company employment records " Support the Directors in the HR strategy and future strategies and projects " Support the Directors in any redundancy, restructure or variation of contract exercises " Provide a central point of HR guidance to line management " Support and advice managers on Employee Relations matters in line with Company policy and relevant legislation " Advise and support managers on any performance issues for all staff, including probationary periods " Advise and support managers on disciplinary, bullying & harassment and grievance matters " Advise and support managers by attending disciplinary hearings for employees for sanction's potentially higher than a written warning " Advise and support managers by attending grievance & bullying & harassment meetings at all levels " Advise and support managers in any consultation meetings " Advise and support managers with absence management i.e. home visits, absence meetings, occupational health assessments / recommendations " Attend Employment Tribunals
The company are offering to pay a salary of £25k-£30k plus pension and healthcare, working hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm (1/2 hour for lunch) and Friday 8am - 3.30pm
Key Attributes and Experience
" Have a HR Degree or working towards a Degree " Experience mentoring and coaching " Excellent negotiating skills and proven track record working to deadlines " Have a broad knowledge of Employment Law and Employee Relation matters " The successful candidate will have a "can do" approach with customer focus and a good team ethic.
