We are looking for a Labour Desk Coordinator to be based out of one of our busiest client's office based in Leicetser. Although employment will be with Bromak, the successful candidate will be completing operational and recruitment duties as per our client's requirements.
Purpose of the Role/Objective - Labour Desk Coordinator
To work in support of the Group Recruitment function to ensure the timely and efficient management of agency labour across the business.
To ensure that maximum compliance to our labour agreements is achieved, in line with our pre-defined commercial processes.
To ensure that the business requirements are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Main Responsibilities of the Role - Labour Desk Coordinator
Administrate new requirements to the vendor management system in a timely manner.
Cross reference any requirements to the Labour Matrix, to ensure that the correct information in terms of rates, responsibilities and compliance is uploaded to each vacancy.
Work within the Site Matrix, to ensure that vacancies are released to the correct agencies, to ensure that we are providing a fair and consistent workload to each of our labour agencies.
Remain neutral between different external agencies, providing a fair process for all.
Ensure that each vacancy gathers the relevant approvals from QS' and that compliance is maintained.
Cross reference the Labour Matrix, to ensure that any role determination is applied to the position, to reduce the requirement for IR35 assessments.
Manage the IR35 assessment process for any variable roles, ensuring that the questionnaire is completed in full, and in a timely manner.
Produce Status Determination Statements for all variable assignments on complete of the questionnaire, and effectively communicate the decision to a worker and the agency.
Establish yourself as the primary point of contact, and subject matter expert, for any blue or white collar requirements on sites within your regions, encourage key stakeholders to contact you for support, and reduce the risk of deviation from the process.
Liaise with various people internally, predominantly from our Construction and Commercial teams as well as liaising with our various recruitment agencies externally.
Escalate any areas of non-compliance to the Group Recruitment Lead, to be dealt with as appropriate.
Answer both internal and external calls to the Labour Desk, advising and actioning as appropriate.
Assist with the collation of recruitment information for inclusion in board reports and other documents.
Complete any associated administration duties, as required by the business and the role.
Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful in the Role - Labour Desk Coordinator
Passionate about customer service, construction and housebuilding.
Previous experience working within a recruitment agency, within the construction industry would be advantageous.
IT literate, to be able to work efficiently within Vendor Management Systems.
Comfortable working with high volume and at pace.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Know the commercial importance of working with tight deadlines and strong processes.
Excellent Organisation skills, with the ability to ensure flexibility where required.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure that the correct information is conveyed at all times.
Possess the ability to work under pressure
In return for your skills and experience you will be offered a salary of £28,000 - £33,000 DOE as well as bonus based on performance and customer care.
