An award- winning House Builder cline tis looking to appoint a Managing Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Doncaster Office. The position is paying up to £60K plus package.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor your duties will include:
Ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with standard SHEQ procedures and work instructions;
Assisting in the management and maintenance of contract cost reporting system which can effectively manage the financial status, the tasks and the people involved in putting this information into the system in order that such reports are produced in a timely manner.
Ensuring the necessary interface information between client, sub-contractors and departments is provided in a timely manner;
Establishing programme commitments are being met and advise on action to be taken when this is not the case, whether as a result of company breach or otherwise;
Monitoring labour and report on deviations to required budget
Monitoring expenditure with the assistance of the Finance Department to ensure that up to date cost information is available and known;
Continually monitor projected costs to completion.
The position is paying a competitive salary of up to £60K, plus package.
Qualifications & Experience:
Excellent communication skills
Great time management skills
Proficient with Microsoft packages (Word, Excel etc)
Degree in Commercial management or Quantity Surveying
Previous experience working for a House Builder
Experience of Contract Law
Financial and Commercial awareness
Ability to mentor others
