An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Professional Office Manager to join a dynamic Design & Build Developer based in Manchester for a 9 month maternity cover.
Provision of all necessary organization and administration for the main office and management team to operate professionally and efficiently. Responsible for providing a comprehensive, confidential and professional support service to the Directors.
Provision of a "Personal Assistance" to the Directors to enable and improve their time management, ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Reporting to Directors your duties will include:
" To provide a support service for the Directors, including forward planning of their workload, diary management and co?ordinating and collating all relevant paperwork. " To organise and maintain diaries, arranging meetings for the Directors as requested. " To act as meeting host where required - sending invites, organising refreshments, creating agendas, taking minutes at meetings. " To screen phone calls, enquiries and requests, handling them when appropriate " To devise and maintain a confidential and efficient filing system for the Managing Director and other Directors as required. " Mobile phone account management for the business. " Creating presentations and business development marketing materials " Filing and archive management for the business " Creating databases where directed and ensuring they are kept up to date. " To organise travel arrangements for the Directors " To deal with incoming emails, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the Directors " To produce any documents, reports and presentations requested by the management team. " To liaise with other staff members and external clients, ensuring professionalism at all times. " Line management responsibility for the receptionist. Telephone/reception cover as necessary " Responding to and operating within company Health and Safety policies and guidelines " To carry out any other duties appropriate for the role as directed by the Directors.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity you MUST have previous experience working in a busy office environment carrying out a similar Office Manager/Secretarial role. You will be well presented, confident and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. You must demonstrate a proven track record in business administration, providing examples of your ability to multi task, organise and prioritise workload. In addition, you must be fully conversant with all Microsoft packages including Word/PowerPoint/Outlook/Excel.
You must have the ability to work unsupervised and to strict deadlines along with plan, prioritise and organise workloads to ensure work is carried out within set timescales.

This role is for a 9 month maternity cover, you will benefit from a competitive basic salary of up to £25k depending on experience. The hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm (1/2 hour lunch)
