Operations Coordinator to Construction Director
My client is a market leading contractor specialising in the new build and refurbishment of Local Authority Properties, Registered Social Landlords and Housing Associations.
The company are going from strength to strength and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Operations Coordinator to work closely with the Construction Director with the daily operations of the Construction and Build department.
Operations Coordinator duties will include but not limited to:
" Diary management - organising meetings, attendees and venues, booking appointments and arranging hotels, flights, travel, etc " Producing reports including the preparation of board reports to tight deadline " Managing emails " Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority " Minuting meetings, management meetings and other meetings " Creating PowerPoint presentations " Coordinating all business related activities " Working with sensitive information in a confidential manner " Retaining the confidentiality of performing the PA duties to the Construction Director " Site visits to train Site Managers on the Project Plus system " Updating build programmes and checking on progress
Skills and Experience required for Operations Coordinator role
To qualify for this exciting opportunity you MUST have previous experience working in a busy office environment carrying out secretarial duties at management level. You will be well presented, confident and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. You must demonstrate a proven track record in business administration, providing examples of your ability to multi task, organise and prioritise workload. In addition, you must be fully conversant with all Microsoft packages.
You must have the ability to work unsupervised and to strict deadlines along with plan, prioritise and organise workloads to ensure work is carried out within set timescales.

You will benefit from a competitive basic salary of up to £23k. The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5pm (1hr lunch) and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm (1/2 hour lunch). The company are keen on training and development and will offer opportunities for you to progress in your career.
