My client are a well-established, and rapidly expanding Contractor who operate nationally. They are currently have a requirement for a Painting Foreman to work for the company's established Painting & Decorating division. Based from their Greater Manchester offices, you will be working on Social Housing work streams in the Manchester area. Reporting to a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Organisation of in-house Painters and Sub-Contractors - Initially, 50/50 work on the tools will be necessary but this will become a full time managerial position as the role progresses. - Keep an accurate site diary of daily activities. - Order all necessary materials. - Attend daily, weekly and monthly progress meetings with the client - Be responsible for the quality management of all painting works on site. - Monitor health and safety and ensure a safe working environment is - Ensuring works are completed within time and budget.
The successful candidate must have a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Painting & Decorating, aswell as SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid.
The position is starting as a Painting Foreman, but will offer natural progression to a Painting Contracts Manager as the Painting & Decorating division grows. The company are looking to recruit someone ambitious and passionate, who has a desire to succeed.
