My client is a regional housebuilder with a focus on providing affordable housing. They currently have a requirement for a permanent experienced Partnerships Director to work across their East Midlands region. You will be working on a variety of residential projects which will be located regionally. The role will require a strong professional network across the local area.
The main purpose of the role is to pro-actively progress partnership and land schemes to convert preferred developer status into deliverable projects, managing and balancing the aspirations of all stakeholders. To understand, implement and adhere to SHEQ policy and strategy. Identify and pursue partnership and lands opportunities, and assess their suitability Establish and maintain close liaison with all statutory and public bodies within the area of operation Monitor all Regional and Local Authority Planning and Housing Documentation for future opportunities Acquire projects in line with 5 year business plan. Assist in preparation of land appraisal details (house types, mix etc.) Prepare bid documentation and submissions in line with client requirements and Keepmoat Homes policy Liaise with statutory Authorities and planning/highway departments and others as required to assist with accurate preparation of feasibilities. Liaise with Sales, Finance and Commercial departments with regard to Cash flows. Liaise with and appoint Consultants to prepare feasibility design information as required. Ensure detailed financial feasibilities for all schemes are carried out by Commercial Department. Liaise with Sales/ Development/Commercial regarding mix, selling prices and costs. Commission legal representatives. Work with legal representatives in negotiations for project agreements. Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure acceptable legal position for Keepmoat Homes. Liaise with local authority and community organisations on all aspects of project delivery. Attend community meetings when required to provide updates on project progress. Work with PR & Communication team to arrange consultation events etc. when required.
Skills & Experience Required
Educated to degree level in a related discipline Community involvement/public exhibitions Commercially astute Good communication and negotiation skills Team player Up to date knowledge of land acquisition legislation IT Literate (Microsoft Office)
