My client is a National House Builder and due to securing their presence within the Midlands region, they are looking to significantly expand over the next 18 months and as such are recruiting to enhance their current Land Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious Partnerships Manager to join a rapidly expanding company at a very exciting time.
As the Partnerships Manager, you will be based in Leicestershire and reporting to the Partnerships Director you will be a key member of the Land and Development Team. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships between business partners and local authorities in a bid to develop strategies to increase revenue for the company.
Proactively promoting the principles of Active Design, actively engaging with key influencers and target stakeholders through a variety of methods including face to face presentations and active use of social media
Conducting research to gain a strong understanding of the area, development plans and its people to inform future activities and drive strategies and initiatives
Winning, planning, developing, delivering and evaluating Active Designs contracts and commissions
Using your relationship building and influencing skills to create and maintain partnerships with key senior influencers including Politicians, Local Planning Authorities, Housing Developers and Landowners
Supervise bid submissions and coordinate partnership bid presentations
Set Project Development Programmes and manage their delivery with the Partnership Team
Support legal agreement negotiations on partnership projects
Negotiate land values with the involvement of the Regional L&P Director
Qualifications & Experience
To qualify for this exciting role, you must have previous experience working for a house builder at a Partnerships Manager level with first-hand experience in the delivery of housing schemes along with:
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to work at all levels and willing to be 'hands on' when required
Prepared to cover a geographical area
Ability to build and maintain good relationships with various parties including Land Agents, Local Authorities, Consultants, Statutory Authorities, Solicitors, RSL's and Government Agencies
