My Client is one of the UK's leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the Social Housing sector, maintaining more than 500,000 properties Nationwide every year. Due to managing an increased number of properties, my Client is looking to recruit an additional Planned Maintenance Supervisor covering the Nottingham, Lincoln & Grimsby regions. The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be working on a Planned Maintenance contract managing and supervising the redecoration works on their stock of houses across Nottingham, Lincoln & Grimsby.
Managing and monitoring direct trades, sub-contractors, and agency staff
Completing pre survey visits
Completing site inspections
Organising and managing and maintaining the programme of works
Checking the quality of all works
Ensuring all works are being completed within set deadlines
First Line of command for all trades, labour, and sub-contractors on site
Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are being followed
Feeding back progress reports to the Management team
Checking works for any snagging to be completed
Must have previous experience of working on Social Housing projects at a Supervisory level
A good working knowledge of maintenance contracts
Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate (although this is not essential as we can arrange for you to do this online prior to commencing with the Client)
Clean driving licence
High Level and understanding of Health & Safety requirements and procedures
The Client is looking to get someone on board with immediate effect and this is a temporary to permanent position.
£20ph / £30-32k
