A leading Social Housing provider seek to appoint a Planned Works Supervisor to supervise on a project that includes installation of external doors, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, rewires, roofline and internal/external insulation (amongst others). Ensuring the delivery of planned replacement programmes such as the installation of external doors, windows, bathrooms, kitchens, rewires, roofline and internal/external insulation (amongst others)
Dealing with customers, and employees across the company as well as suppliers, sub-contractors and other stakeholders
Communicating what works and outcomes are needed on a daily basis with the engineers that report to you
Issuing up to date weekly and three weekly programmes
Planning programme delivery and including organising your resources and materials within timescale and budgets
Quality checking works your engineers deliver to ensure standards are achieved
Updating reporting and projecting completions
Liaising with customers to deal with their enquiries
Work from the company's office in Gainsborough, and you'll visit other sites or locations as part of your role
Ability to plan programme delivery within deadlines and budgets
Your role may also include on call elements
The company pay very competitively, with a basic salary of up to £35,000, + attractive benefits package. You'll work 37 hours a week, with 25 days annual leave, a matched employer pension of up to 8%. The company also provides the opportunity to undertake additional training.
Qualifications & Experience
Full UK licence and access to a vehicle
Relevant qualifications in an appropriate construction discipline
Good technical knowledge of building and/or housing maintenance and planned replacement programmes
Good knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation and compliance issues
Experience of supervising a sizeable trade or contractor workforce that delivers positive results
Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft packages
Experience of contract management and CDM regulations
