Our client within the Construction Services Industry are looking to recruit an Experienced Forward-Thinking Planner. They offers a unique opportunity to not be constrained to individual projects or sector teams and welcomes the idea to contribute across the organisation to develop personal experience and grow the business, with additional remuneration directly linked to performance.
The successful candidate will effectively programme planning and analysis for related infrastructure projects.
Providing assurance on clients' capital programmes
Ensuring outputs align with client requirements and expectations
Management, collation and analysis of infrastructure construction P6 programmes (NEC based)
Effective project planning and progress monitoring, including the development and application of planning best practice
Ensuring consistency in schedule definition and development
Analysis of critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes
The company look to pay a salary between £35,000-£50,000 (DOE), with an excellent benefits package, including city centre parking, paid overtime, payment of professional fees, extensive cross disciplinary training, pension scheme. The successful application will received 25 days holiday entitlement, and receive the benefit of flexible working hours.
Qualifications & Experience
Be client focused and understand the importance of delivering on time and within budget
Be able to reduce uncertainty, understand objectives and improve efficiency.
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a planner in the infrastructure sector
Have a degree in project management or a construction related discipline
Hold a relevant Primavera P6 qualification
Have extensive knowledge and be proficient in the use of Primavera (P6) software.
Demonstrable project management and planning techniques.
Experience of working with the latest forms of construction contracts, particularly NEC
Be able to develop programme schedules in conjunction with project managers and project teams.
Have experience of producing status reports to keep management informed on programme progress.
