We are looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Planner / Scheduler for a Social Housing Contract based in Bedford, MK41. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for a reliable and experienced Planner / Scheduler for their busy offices in Bedford.
The Client looks after several different Social Housing contracts from their offices; however, you will be working on the Responsive Repairs project. You will be required to make outbound and receive inbound calls from tenants in relation to repairs and maintenance that need carrying out at their properties. You will be based in the offices in Bedford.
Duties will include: Managing operatives diaries Planning repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively Liaising with operatives, tenants and the Client Document Control - Ensure worksheets are received and checked Work towards individual and client KPI's Calling residents to book pot inspections Calling residents to undertake a customer satisfaction survey Sending letters Providing a tracking report via our tracker on operatives arrival & departure times throughout the day Use of an in house Computer system called Impact
Applicants must: Be able to prioritise work load Have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner Be well organised Be able to work in a fast paced environment Be able to handle challenging situations i.e. from a concerned tenant Be computer literate and proficient in IT packages such as Word & Excel Work effectively in team Have previous experience in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Have good Administrative skills
