We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to join our Clients growing Central regional office based in Stoke. Due to rapid expansion, our Client, a Nationwide Construction Project Management Company, is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their Stoke office.
Whilst they are predominately a Project Management Company, their work is heavily biased within the Civil and Highways sector working alongside top housebuilding Contractors. The role is split between site and the office and you will provide varied day to day duties and responsibilities. You will be involved in all aspects of the business from engineering solutions to pricing and profit analysis

Role and Responsibilities: Dealing with Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements Project Managing multiple Civil Engineering projects Undertaking desk based studies into roads and sewer infrastructure Conducting site investigation works and inspections Liaising with local Council and Water Company Compiling detailed site reports On site supervision/management of Civil Engineering works and staff Obtaining 'sign off of the works from the Adopting Authority and pursuing adoption certification from the various authorities, Reviewing tenders & works quotations,Contractor liaison & Client Management Surveying Review/production of CAD drawings Maintains safe & clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules & regulations Compiling & submitting required adoption documentation Liaising & managing sub-contractors to complete works Solving civil engineering problems and delivery of key works under deadlines
You must have a proven track record in Project Management, dealing with S38, S278 & S104, Highways and Sewers, a CSCS card, a Civil Engineering qualification and residential house building background is preferable. The Client is looking for candidates with at least 5 years experience. This would suit a recent Civil Engineering graduate with experience within the Construction sector who is now looking to progress to Project Management level.
