An exciting career opportunity has arisen with a reputable contractor who work nationally within the Fit Out sector.
They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Project Manager whose job it will be to manager and supervise the smooth operation of a large office fit-out.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:-
" Responsible for the planning and establishment of activities related to site set up - this includes the management of labour, resources and materials; " Taking responsibility for all aspects of onsite Health and Safety to ensure the project follows all legislation and Company procedures; " Comply with the Company's Quality Management System; " Ensure quality control - strive for snag free handovers for all projects; " Managing effective meetings with the site team and also attend necessary meetings; " Compliance of drawings/specifications; " Monitoring sub-contractors performance; " Extremely professional services to assist Clients when developing and managing their projects; " Developing and maintaining working relationships with the Clients and design teams; " Have a deep understanding of the commercial awareness of the project delivery; " Control and monitor the supply chain to ensure costs are managed effectively; " General compliance with the Employee Handbook, Company process and procedures.
You must have the following tickets:-
" SMSTS; " CSCS; " First Aid; " Asbestos; " Fire Awareness and " Scaffold Inspection. You must have a valid UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel nationally, as this role will require you to work away from home and to work a variety of shifts.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Project Manager working on office fit outs / refurbishment contracts, with some experience of managing refurbishments within more general sectors being ideal.
The salary on offer is up to £50k + car/car allowance and package, including healthcare, pension etc.
