The Client Our Client are an award-winning Contractor with over 40 years' experience within the social housing sector. They deliver design and build projects, property maintenance and a range of refurbishment services. Due to demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager based in Hereford.
The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be working on a complex Social Housing Refurbishment scheme, which will consist of EWI, window replacement, roofline works as well as some general building work, including support work to the existing structure of the building. You will take responsibility for the overview of the day-to-day running and smooth operations of all sites and site labour. You will be the point of contact and oversee all communication between the Client and the company, strictly adhering to the Health & Safety Policy and protocols.
Duties Attend Client meetings Manage contracts from implementation to practical completion Understand and define project scope, goals and deliverables to ensure the project is delivered within budget and program Oversee all Site Managers/Supervisors, taking responsibility of scope of works Complete management of direct labour and sub-contractors Maintain good working relationships with clients and site operatives Regular liaison with the client, discussing progress and acting as the company representative Ensure all projects are ran within current legislation, to specification and compliance Ensure site Health and Safety requirements are adhered to Managing multiple projects across the region Ensure projects have continual material supplies and the correct levels of labour/sub-contract labour to be able to perform within budget and program Ensuring all method statements and risk assessments are completed and filed Ensuring budgets and programs are met in line with original quotations
Qualifications & Experience Must possess Black CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid & Asbestos Awareness Must have Project Managed internal and external domestic Social Housing refurbishment projects Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications Must be able to work on own initiative and make decisions Must have good organisational skills / able to manage own workload Must be confident in Managing site teams
