Regional Construction and Civils Company looking for experienced Project Manager to join their team to work on their exciting 2021/2022 Projects on a permanent basis.
This company work across several sectors including residential, retail, educational and student accommodation but the main focus for this role is within the healthcare sector, working on projects throughout the North East region.

Due to an increase in work they are looking for self-motivated, knowledgeable and talented Project Manager who wants to take ownership of a project whilst receiving first class support from the Senior Management team
Reporting directly to the Regional Construction Director, your duties will include:-
To read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
To achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met;
To produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects;
Requisition and management of materials/delivery;
Issuing subcontractors with regular short-term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved;
Attending and chairing progress meetings;
To give full consideration to the tender allowances when establishing the site compound;
Liaising with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships;
Attending monthly cost meetings and agree contribution forecast;
To ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects;
Obtaining risk assessments and method statements from contractors prior to work commencement;
Safe storage and co-ordination of materials;
Preparation / assistance with the site progress reports.
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, certificates and skills:
Ideally educated to degree level within a Construction discipline
Track record of leading teams
Good understanding of NEC3, JCT, D&B forms of contract
You must also be able to demonstrate a stable career background as a Senior Site/Project Manager, working for a main contractor on large scale new build and refurbishment projects.
In return the client is looking to pay a negotiable basic salary starting at £50K-£55K plus company package.
