The Client You will be working for an established main contractor that are based in South Essex and operate throughout East Anglia, London and Hampshire. They have been in business for 10+ years and have a focus on industrial, logistics and retail park construction projects, with an annual turnover in excess of £175m, this organisation are leading the way in what they do. With an impressive portfolio of challenging and varied projects along with a strong and stable pipeline, this is a fantastic time to join this contractor. Salary would be between £45k - £55k plus package.
The Role: In your new job as a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be based in Reading working on an Industrial project valuing at £10m. It is a permanent opportunity and one which will offer career longevity and progression. You will be based on site for the vast majority of the time, however there will be occasions where you may be required at head office or various locations for meetings with clients and sub-contractors. Being the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and will be tasked with keeping the project on time and to budget.
Qualifications & Experience - We are looking for quantity surveyors who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market. - Experience of working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million is an advantage. - We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.
