My client are a multi-faceted, well-established Contractor with an excellent reputation who operate nationally. They currently have a requirement for a Projects Manager to join their National Construction division. Based from the company's Staffordshire Head Offices, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects in the Leisure & Care Home sector.
" Regular liaison with the client and agents of the client to ensure clarity and consistency of communications and the speedy resolution of issues thus ensuring a strong working partnership " Continuous planning and overview of the contract to ensure that at all times the Company are fulfilling the requirements of the contract " Presentation skills to the extent of explaining projects to both clients and internally. " Allocation of workloads and duties between the managers, and other office staff to ensure that at all times the correct priorities are maintained and that issues and problems within the branch are dealt with in an effective and efficient way. " Ensure development and maintenance of appropriate project management tools and procedures throughout the development process. " Coordinate the full construction process onsite and post construction " Develop construction phase health and safety plan
As this is a heavily client facing role, experience in this is essential. You must also have experience and be confident in using Microsoft Project, as you will be required to programme. The successful candidate must have experience working on Refurbishment projects, ideally in the Leisure/Care Home sector.
Experience in working in live environments is ideal, but not essential.
