Salary: £40000 - £45000 per annum + plus package including car allowance
Award Winning Construction Company looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to an increase in work.
The role requires someone with a great attention to detail who will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects from the outset to completion and settlement of final accounts.
Working on a variety of projects of refurbishments, new builds and fit outs - including education buildings, healthcare, heritage buildings, and commercial projects.
£40 - £45k plus company package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a medium sized contractor specialising in the public and private sector, focusing on education, healthcare and heritage projects across the Manchester.
They are currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work on a permanent basis, on a variety of upcoming projects. You will be responsible for 2-3 projects at one time (depending on value), which could be up to the value of approximately £4m.
You will be joining an established company with over a decade's worth of experience within the industry.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include:-
Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties.
Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client
Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement
Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.
Preparation of internal cost reporting measures.
Advice when required on cost management, or value management.
Maintaining quality control procedures.
Health & Safety management.
Undertaking all tasks in a timely fashion and as required by management.
Ensure cash flow is maximized
The successful candidate will ideally have a degree/HNC qualification (or equivalent) and have a variety of experience across different sectors.
You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV and be computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills.
The position is looking to start as soon as possible, with the salary on offer of £40 - £45k plus company package which includes car allowance and other company benefits.
