Salary: £40000 - £45000 per annum + Additional Benefits
Our Client has been in business for well over 30 years, this organisation has built up an exceptional name in the London and UK construction sector, covering new housing, social housing, major refurb schemes as well as any maintenance works. With excellent relationships with local authorities and a team of over 400 in their head office, this Woodford Green based contractor is only going to keep growing.
They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work within the Housing department, on new build and refurbishment frameworks. There is a long running contract in London on which you will be based on, working between the office and site. You will report into a Senior Surveyor and work alongside 2x Project/Quantity Surveyors, with 3x Assistant Surveyors on hand to help.
Provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contracted work by managing stages of the project assigned with the other projects surveyors.
The provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets.
To carry out all surveying based requirements; producing bills of quantities, attending site and client meetings, producing CVR's, Control and administer sub-Contract accounts, re-measure of all site works and liaise with Contracts Management on Cost Control and all financial matters relating to the Contract
Experience / Qualifications Required:
4+ years experience working in a main contract environment, ideally experience on housing refurbishments
A BSc / HNC level qualification, preferably in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
Experience working at Project level, and capable of working autonomously whilst reporting into a team
A full UK Driving License preferred
You will be offered an annual salary, up to £45,000 per annum dependant on your experience. Alongside this, there will be a benefits package which includes a car allowance, pension contribution and annual leave allowance.
