The Client As one of the region's most recognisable privately owned multi-disciplinary construction groups, our client delivers complex, iconic full structures, infrastructure schemes and civil engineering packages primarily across Norfolk & Cambridgeshire, offering their services on both a principle contract and sub-contract basis dependant on the nature of the works, as well as offering a range of outsourced services to the industry. They seek to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team in line with company growth, working across a general building portfolio covering works up to £5m in value, across a range of contract forms and sectors.
Responsibilities: - Negotiation and procurement of resources for the projects. - Compilation and reporting of interim valuations including the collation of the associated substantiation for variation(s), maintain a rolling assessment of the Forecast Final Account for the Client. - Cost Management: Internal Reporting of their projects, projecting the final margin. - Negotiation and settlement of Client and Sub-Contractor Final Account. - Commercially manage 2nd Stage Pre-Construction works.
Qualifications & Experience - Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification. - Hold the appropriate CSCS accreditation - The candidate should be experienced in working under JCT and NEC forms of Contract, others will be considered.
