The company will be commencing a prestigious 39 storey mixed use residential and commercial development in the city centre and are looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor who will be site based and able to manage specialist subcontract packages within the RC Frame build.
The company are looking to appoint an experienced RC Frame Quantity Surveyor to work on a high rise development. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day commercial aspects of the frame build including liaising with the project team font end, design and reporting into a commercial manager, from the start of the project right through to completion.
Duties will include:
Overall management and responsibility for sub contract packages and costing across the whole frame program including budgets, cost and recompense for the client. Collaboration with clients and consultants to resolve problems in advance or as they arise, managing variations and valuation, tendering, negotiation and procurement of specialist materials and sub-contractors such as concrete, reinforcement, craneage, support systems, steelwork, waterproofing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on bigger sized projects on for an extremely well run, professional company that has a reputation for delivering flagship projects. To be considered candidates ideally will come from a degree qualified background and ideally in RC Frame. The ideal candidate will have worked for a specialist RC Frame contractor / Sub Contractor. The company offer an attractive salary and package ranging from £45k - £55k + car allowance and additional company benefits depending on experience.
