Social Housing Contractor looking for an experiences Commercial Manager to join their North West team, reporting directly to the Area Director.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
Working alongside the Commercial team to maximise commercial opportunities, keeping business risk at a low, embedding company processes and diligence through contract management
Resolving contractual and commercial problems
Being the key point of contact through the negotiation stages in conjunction with the commercial managers with clients to offer direction and instruction.
Attending tender adjudication for high-risk contracts
Produce handover pack to the delivery team identifying commercial risks and mitigation strategy
Commercial governance for all new business contracts
Attending monthly regional board meetings
Overseeing claims and disputes with clients and supply chains.
Skills & Knowledge Required
In order to be progressed to the next stage it is essential that you have:-
Previous contractual knowledge (JCT/PPC and NEC)
Superior management and organisational skills, expert negotiation skills and solid industry networks.
Excellent presentation skills, numeracy and communication (verbal & written) are also required.
In return the company is looking to pay a generous basic salary plus company package including car allowance and bonus scheme.
