A 5* housebuilder has a requirement for a Sales Director for their East Midlands Region.
The company started as a small family run business and have expanded gradually over the years creating an enviable reputation, built on quality, customer service and delivering high standards. They are now one of the top 10 house builders building new properties ranging from 1 bed apartments to luxury family homes across the UK.
The role of the Sales Director has overall responsibility for the management of the divisional sales department with the key objective of achieving all targets and objectives within specified timescales and budgets, ensuring that maximum profit is achieved through the effective management of the Sales Team's performance

The role of Sales Director reports to the Division's Regional Director
Duties and responsibilities:
Achieve targets (KPIs) set by the Group Board in relation to legal completions (units sold), Marketing Budget Spend, average selling price, sales selling overhead.
Design and presentation of all Sales environments and marketing material.
Manage advertising schedules and creating/implementing design concepts.
Production of presentational/marketing material, ensuring compliance with Property Misrepresentations Act and other legislative requirements
Lead the focus on Customer Service in order to enhance the reputation of the Company, increase profitability and to achieve customer satisfaction targets.
Market research and competitor analysis.
Negotiate major/complex sales transactions and promote Group mortgage arrangements for all sales, ensuring that Independent Financial Advice is available.
Appropriate reporting to the MD on all aspects of Sales/legal completions.
Ensure that all Sales environments meet Health and Safety requirements.
Make a demonstrable contribution towards the Group's Programme of Continuous Improvement.
Ensure the Sales team are fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the department's workload.
Appropriate reporting to the MD and Divisional Board in line with the standard format and schedule.
Promote and act in accordance with Group values, systems, policies and procedures
Skills & Experience required
Extensive experience of working within sales, as a Head of/Director level role.
Experience of working for a residential housebuilder
Management of a sales and marketing function.
Experience of effectively leading and managing a team.
A CSCS Card is desirable
