Senior HR Administrator
My client are a busy housebuilder operating in the North West. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior HR Administrator to join their HR team based in Warrington. The purpose of the role is to provide timely, accurate and an efficient administrative service within the HR Function. You will assist the HR Business Partner in providing a comprehensive HR Service across employment and employee related issues for both employees and Management. This role will be ideal for someone interested in developing a career in HR. The scope of the role could be expanded for the right person.
Senior HR Administrator duties will include:
" Oversee and support other Administrative employees in performing in their role and cover HR Admin role as required. " Manage the maternity/paternity and adoption process " Conduct exit interviews as and when required to do so. " Process absence statements calculating CSP, SSP and Self certification days. Monitor whether staff have followed the sickness procedures / send reminder letters. Record return to work interviews. Raising/answering queries and sending routine letters. " Advise and facilitate the early stages of performance, attendance and conduct issues, in agreement with the Senior HR Business Partner. Entails conducting Investigations and facilitating initial disciplinary hearings. " Act as the CASCADE System Administrator for example where software upgrades are required, where global changes are required etc. " Support the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider HR team in ad-hoc project work
The successful candidate must have previous experience with property sales and dealing with sales progression, chasing chains and exchange of contracts.
" 2 years' experience working within a Human Resources department is essential " Good working knowledge of HR procedures including SSP and paternity/maternity benefits " Ability to communicate at all levels " Accuracy and attention to detail essential " Good organisational skills " Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines " Sound knowledge of all computer packages " A working knowledge of HR CASCADE is advantageous, but not essential " Interest in studying for CIPD qualification
In return for you skills my client offer a basic salary from up to £25k (dependant on experience) company benefits including pension, share save scheme, 25 annual holidays. Working hours are Monday to Friday role working 9am to 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch.
