Senior Land Manager

The company are a regional developer specialising in new build private developments across the North West Region, properties ranging from affordable homes to luxury family homes. They are now looking for a Senior Land Manager for their office in Warrington.
The principle purpose of the role is to lead and drive the identification, assessment and negotiation of both strategic and immediate land opportunities from initial sourcing, contracts and to completion, including the collation of information from sales, technical and commercial teams to establish a clear assessment of viability for potential development opportunities including formal valuation, offer and negotiation of land price with the landowner
Senior Land Manager duties include
o Deliver a pipeline of new land and strategic regeneration opportunities against agreed targets and timescales. You will have a number of commercial contacts and will be expected to nurture these to develop opportunities.
o Build relationships with the wider property and development teams to enable a smooth transition once a site has been identified and successfully negotiated.
o Proactively explore opportunities that will ensure the business is expanding into new geographies and tenures.
o The role will entail working at times in collaboration with competitors. The role includes working at times at group level and collaborating with other group businesses.
o Input into the planning application process to ensure successful delivery through to implementable consent.
Skills and experience required
To be considered for this role of Senior Land Manager you will need to come from the following background:
" Extensive experience in a Land Manager or Senior Land Manager role
" Proven record of successful land acquisition and strategic regeneration opportunities
" Strong communication and negotiation skills
" Strong network of contacts
" Self motivated and well organised
" Full driving license
