Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant (Permanent)
Due to exciting new growth plans within our permanent division, a new role is available to run a technical & construction recruitment desk involving placing a range of construction professionals from Design Managers and Quantity Surveyors to Site & Project Managers. The desk will involve working with a comprehensive range of regional and national building contractors that specialise in commercial, education, residential, health & leisure and industrial construction projects. You will work within a team of 6 and enjoy a vibrant & friendly open work environment that encourages both autonomy & teamwork. You will have full responsibility to run and develop your own client base with the added benefit of a dedicated candidate manager / resourcer who will help support you in your administration & search for candidates so you can concentrate on developing your relationships with the clients and meeting client requirements & business needs.
Develop strong working relationships over the telephone and face to face with both
existing and new clients.
Source & shortlist suitable candidates to clients job requirements.
Interview candidates over the telephone and face to face.
Represent professionally and marketing of candidates to existing and new client base.
Organise and attend head office client meetings to register new job vacancies and discuss client requirements in detail.
Arrange interviews for candidates.
Register new job vacancies.
Negotiate terms of business, offer of employment and final closing of a permanent placement.
Aftercare of a placement to ensure clients & candidates expectations have been met
Develop a good understanding of your clients and industry sector overall by keeping up to date with industry contract awards, changes & new legislation.
Provide the highest standard of service for both client & candidate and adhering to strict compliance procedures.

Experience Required & Package
This would suit a Recruitment Consultant with between 3 to 5 years' experience or an individual looking to take the next step into a Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant role and looking for career progression & the opportunity to manage a small team. Also would suit someone from a large national recruiter looking to join a more specialised and less micro managed approach to recruitment. Ideally a technical / construction background would be beneficial but all recruitment sectors will be considered. Bromak invest heavily in training and career development with their main goal to develop talent organically allowing trainees and Recruitment Consultants to be upskilled and be successful in becoming Managing Consultants, Divisional Managers and Regional Directors in the years ahead.
A Basic Salary of between £26,000 and £32,000 and a car allowance of £4,000 is on offer with excellent monthly & quarterly commission schemes. Average OTE's range between £45k to £60k but can be much more as the commission is uncapped. A negotiated guarantee will be on offer for the first 3 months and the package will be dependent upon experience. Working hours are either 8am to 5pm or 8.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch, statutory pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. We offer monthly top biller incentives and prizes including vouchers, early Friday finishes and team / corporate entertaining events.
