A national house builder with multiple offices throughout the UK have a unique opportunity for a Senior Utilities Coordinator / Services Manager to operate throughout their 3 West Midlands regional offices in supporting the Major Projects teams.
Role and responsibilities
This is a key position with this house builder in assisting with coordinating and managing the process of the services and installation. You will be the main point of contact to the main services providers (gas / water / electricity), keeping lines of communication open and regularly getting updates on progress which will be reported back to the Major Projects Director.
" Manage a number of projects at once
" Liaise with local authorities, councils, clients representatives and residents
" Manage the financial aspects of these projects, undertaking weekly measures and submitting to the client and to the office where invoices will be raised
" Ensuring projects are successfully completed on-time and within budget
" Take part in client, and project delivery meetings
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and attributes
" Strong negotiation skills and a "can do" attitude
" Experienced working and liaising with main utility and services providers
" Worked in a similar role either with a local authority or construction company
" Highly organised and have excellent time management skills
" Able to prioritise workload and have good communications skills across different departments
" Full driving licence will be required
