My client are a regional Social Housing Contractor in the North West. Their portfolio of work spans across internal, external and environmental upgrades to tenanted and void properties. They work closely with a number of local authorities & housing associations.
They have recently won several new contracts and are therefore looking to supplement their team of Site Managers. The contracts will be across the North West and are a mixture of internal and external refurbishment schemes.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager.
Your duties will be:
- Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget - Monitoring health and safety on site - Attending progress meetings, client meetings - Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise
The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as a Site Manager within the Social Housing sector, either in external or internal refurbishments.
You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS and valid First Aid. Scaffold Inspection/Awareness is ideal, but not essential.
The salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience.
