My client are one of the largest private House Builders in the UK who have a requirement for an experienced Site Manager to join their North West team for a development near Chester.

As a company they have achieved over 80 NHBC awards in the last 5 years and have a strong reputation for quality and service.
The role - Site Manager
They currently have a requirement for a Site Manager to join a development based near Chester. Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Construction Director you will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy housing development. Duties will include:
" Ensure visitors are aware of the company H&S Policy ensuring that they are accompanied by a company representative " Maintain and produce, on request, up-to-date Health & Safety records " Ensure all Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to " Ensure that all staff, sub-contractors and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted " Fully co-operate with the Company's Customer Care and Customer Satisfaction " Take ownership of agreed build programmes at pre-start meetings and accept and check the full build package handed over at this meeting " Deliver all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided " Fully conform to building regulations and warranty providers' requirements (NHBC, LABC) " Organise regular site production meetings and pre-plan and ensure efficient usage of all resources, including labour, sub-contractors, plant and materials " Ensure accurate production/progress returns are updated and sent to the Contracts Manager and Construction Director " Attend and minute a weekly Sales/Construction Meeting with your Sales Adviser to keep each other appraised from both a sales and site point of view " Ensure the quality of finished product and thoroughly inspect and snag each plot prior to each NHBC key stage inspection
The Experience required
The successful candidate must have previous experience working for a volume house builder. You must have a steady work history and ideally come from a trade background, NHBC awards would be highly advantageous. As a Site Manager you will also be required to hold valid CSCS card, SMSTS certificate, and First Aid certificate

In return for your skills, my client offers a basic salary from £48 - £55k (depending on experience), company car / car allowance, attractive bonus scheme and a pension scheme.
