My client are a multi-award winning residential property developer, specialising in luxury traditional and contemporary homes in the North West.
The company's ethos of creating the finest homes in the most desirable locations has bought continued success and led to rapid expansion over recent years. They have recently secured a number of new developments in the Cheshire region and are looking to recruit experienced Site Manager to join their growing Construction team.
Working on award winning residential developments, this is a brilliant career opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on luxury developments in the Cheshire region.
As a Site Manager, you will also be responsible for the management and delivery of all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner. Reporting to the Contracts Manager your duties will include:
" Supervise and manage all site based operatives " Overseeing all aspects of their work to include carrying out safety inductions, tool box talks, controlling quality of work, ensuring method statement and order fulfilment, cleanliness and tidiness " Safe use of plant and tools and maintain upkeep of plant and facilities " Minimise waste reduction " Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment/wear " Adhering to and ensuring the Health & Safety of the entire site and project, maintaining quality & safety control procedures. " Checking complex designs and drawings. " Preparing site reports " Liaising directly with the Sales, Technical and Commercial departments ensuring that up to date records of all site activities are retained, thereby achieving cost/quality control " Ensure that production targets are met whilst producing the highest quality of product and ensuring costs are kept within budget.
Skills & Experience
The successful Site Manager must have previous experience working on luxury housing developments, with experience building with high quality material and steel frame method of construction. It is also essential that you hold a valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card and have proven experience delivering complex housing projects.
" You will be fully conversant with all aspects of the house building industry with the proven ability to deliver programmes on time and on budget. " Have excellent communication skills. " Experienced in the management of Health & Safety, and the design and procurement processes. " You will have strong experience of working closely with customers offering excellent customer care while representing the brand and be familiar with the requirements of House Building warranties.

In return for your skills the company are offering a basic salary of £48-55k + additional company benefits including car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare.
