Salary: £35000 - £40000 per annum + plus company package
Established and reputable North West Contractor looking to recruit a number of Site Managers to work on social housing refurbishment schemes across the North West.
My client are a busy Social Housing Contractor, who currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on a social housing refurbishment developments across the North West.
As a Site Manager, your duties will be:-
Achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
Produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects
Requisition and management of materials/delivery
Issue subcontractors with regular short term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
Hold progress meetings
Display on site an up to date copy of the construction programme indicating the progress to date
Give full consideration to the tender allowances when establishing the site compound
Liaise with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships
Attend monthly cost meetings and agree contribution forecast
Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects
Obtain risk assessments and method statements from contractors prior to work commencement
Safe storage and co-ordination of materials
Preparation / assistance with the site progress reports
The successful candidate must have a proven track record working as a Site Manager on social housing schemes, internal and external works for a mixture of Housing Associations and Local Authorities. Previous experience working on high rise apartment schemes would be advantageous for this position.
Tickets required are SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
In return the company are looking to pay a basic salary of £35-£40K (negotiable depending on experience) plus package including company car/car allowance & pension.
