A Social Housing Contractor are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a Social Housing Heating upgrade scheme based in Leeds, LS9.
This is an immediate temporary requirement which will take you through to December.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be managing heating upgrade scheme on high rise tower blocks. Duties include:
" Managing a team consisting of a General Foremen, Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer " Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget " Monitoring health and safety on site " Attending progress meetings, client meetings " Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise " Managing weekly/monthly programmes " Programming and planning all works " Managing site teams consisting of Site Managers/Foreman/Tradesmen " Being the company representative at Client meetings " Recruitment of staff, organising trades and labour " Ensuring KPI's are being achieved " General delivery of the contract
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as a Site Manager working for a Social Housing contractor working on decent homes contracts carrying out council house property refurbishments.
Ability to make quick decisions and work under pressure Good customer care skills are paramount as you will be working in live environments in tenanted properties First aid qualified (4 day course), hold a CSCS card (Supervisory or Site Management level) along with relevant H&S courses including SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness, Scaffold Inspection
The working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, 30 min lunch break, total 37.5 hours per week.
The rate of pay is £21ph (inclusive of holiday pay)
