The Client Our client has grown from a small local company into a significant builder of quality homes being recognised by the NHBC in their Quality Award Scheme which is the industry's benchmark for quality of a development in terms of build standard and overall site management. Due to large growth within the company, they are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team. Salary would be up to £60k plus package and would be based around the Ipswich area.
Ensuring projects are scheduled for works to complete on time and to budget
Overseeing direct and sub-contract labour, resources and materials
Ensuring a pro-active approach to Health & Safety, ensuring projects follow company procedures and legal legislation
Maintaining a positive relationship with customers,, maintaining a professional standard service to ensure smooth running of the project
Ensuring quality control is adhered to and works are completed to the highest possible standard
Qualifications & Experience
You must be accredited/affiliated with a construction board OR have been awarded a construction award for quality of work on residential projects.
Previous experience managing a development site is essential, bespoke homes desirable.
Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent qualification.
Previous experience working on social housing schemes or within general contracting.
