National Contractor looking for two Construction experienced Site Managers to join their team to support an on-going project in Rugby.
General construction, civil works, steel work, shutter doors and external cladding experience required.
£40-£45K basic salary plus company package inc. car allowance, etc.
My client are a leading Contractor in the UK, who operate across divisions including Construction, Fit out and Maintenance all working together and to give their clients a complete service.
The company work on a number of National Frameworks, fit out and construction projects as well as undertaking Design & Build Construction projects in a variety of sectors including leisure, banking and retail.
They are currently seeking to employ a two experienced Site Managers in the construction arm, who have had exposure to new build construction projects, civil works, steel work and external cladding.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:-
Day to day running of the project; including the management of all on site activities and labour.
Site set up and delivery to enable the safe, timely delivery of a quality product.
Programme works, either using Asta Power Project or MS Project.
Promote a safe working environment to maximise safety with direct employees, agency staff and sub-contractors and to take necessary action where serious or repeated disregard for safety is shown
Acting as a first point of contact for the site operations team
In doing so, successful candidates will be expected to consistently behave and interact in line with the values of the business, while leading their team, setting objectives and developing people in order to provide a service of quality to customers and clients, both internal and external.
Ensuring compliance with all aspects of both Health & Safety Legislation and internal H&S Management System will be crucial.
Successful candidates will also be confident in attending and chairing site progress meetings - both internally and with subcontractors -providing progress updates/minutes as required.

This role will be reporting to the Regional Office in Warrington working hours 8 -5 but flexibility in travel and working hours is required due to the position and type of projects the company undertake.
You must have strong construction experience, with scope of works including:-
Civils - removing & relaying slabs, new drainage.
Steel Work Alterations
Installation of Roller Shutter Doors
Successful candidates will also:-
Be fully IT literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
Hold valid training certificates: CSCS, SMSTS, 4 day First Aid, UKATA Asbestos, Fire Awareness & Scaffold Inspection;
Hold a valid clean driving licence;
Hold previous line management experience.
In return the client is looking to offer the following package:-
Basic salary range: £40K-45K (dependent on experience)
5% Non-contributory Pension
