Our client are a regional construction contractor who work across the commercial, leisure, healthcare and education sectors. They work on a mixture of New Build and refurbishment projects across the Lancashire region, ranging in value from £100k - £5m. They are currently looking to recruit a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to a Contracts Manager, your duties will be:
Requisition of materials
Issuing sub-contractor short term programmes
Holding regular progress meetings
Updating the construction programme
Managing trades/labour on site
Checking the quality of all plant on site
Managing H&S on site
Attending monthly cost meetings
The successful candidate must have:
Previous experience working for a Main Contractor on the type of works listed above
A stable career history
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
The salary on offer is negotiable for the right candidate with the correct background.
