A regional house builder have a requirement for an experienced Site Manager for a new development in Greater Manchester.
This privately owned company create traditional looking homes with contemporary interiors, designed for modern living. They concentrate on small developments and they take pride in producing new homes to the highest standard and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Properties include fully integrated kitchens and bathrooms to create a beautifully crafted home with traditionally styled interiors and exteriors to create a home with outstanding style and real character. Their kitchens boast high end appliances often included as standard and a choice of stylish kitchen cupboards and worktops - home interiors are equally impressive and live up to the community in which the houses are located in. Bathrooms are luxurious with gorgeous fine detailing throughout the design process.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for a new development consisting of approx. 14 plots, all 4 bed detached properties.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as a Site Manager your duties will include;
" To achieve the programme and quality requirements " Prepare and maintain traffic management and site strategy and review as required " Carry out pre-occupation checks on all properties prior to handover " Deliver home demonstrations to customers in their own home " Communicate customer satisfaction surveys to all site based staff " Ensure that all plots to be handed over have adequate and appropriate access, parking, street lighting and signage " Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times " Supervise various trades/labour staff " Monitor the performance and effectiveness of direct reports " Train, develop and coach direct reports " Ensure customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience
The successful Site Manager must have previous experience working for a medium to volume house builder and have experience delivering sites from ground stages through to CML and handover. Key skills required:
" Ability to motivate and support staff " Meeting deadlines " Attention to detail " Qualifications and training - CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work " Trade background " Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation " Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
