We are looking to recruit a Site Manager for a 20 week contract for a Facilities Management Contractor based in Kettering. Our Client is a National Facilities Management Contractor looking for a reliable and experienced Site Manager for their project in Kettering.
This project is based at a large industrial unit in Kettering and our Client is based on site providing all aspects of Facilities Management for their Client on a day to day basis.
As the Site Manager, you will responsible for: Running a site of approximately £1 million throughout the year Managing a site team including Maintenance Operatives, Administration, Sub Contractors etc. Monitoring Health and Safety on site Attending progress and Client meetings Liaising with Client and resolving any issues that may arise Striving to achieve production targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met Requisition and management of materials/delivery Supervising both internal & external work packages such as piling, drainage, concrete finishing, stainless steel drainage and kerbing, hygienic composite walls, personnel and rapid rise doors and resin flooring.
You must have SMSTS and First Aid certificates and a CSCS card. You must also have experience of managing within the Industrial sector, preferably within food hygiene but this is not essential.
Ideally, the Client would like to get someone on site ASAP, however, they are willing to wait until the end of October 2018 for the right person. Salary is negotiable depending on specific Facilities Management experience within the Industrial sector.
