An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join an award winning house builder based in the South Midlands.
My client are an award winning house builder in the UK who, due to planned growth, are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to be based in the Stratford-upon-Avon area.
This house builder have a wide range of homes for first time buyers to family homes offering all-inclusive specifications. All homes are built to exacting industry standards and undergo regular inspections by the NHBC to ensure quality of build. The company have a dedicated commitment to quality and service and will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate a similar ethos.
The Role - Site Manager
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational management of the site, overseeing subcontractors, health and safety, maintaining high standards of builds quality and meeting a strict build programme.
Duties will include:
" Achieve targets and carry out programming and monitoring to ensure that deadlines are met
" Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
" Produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects
" Requisition and management of materials/delivery
" Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects

" Basic salary of £50-55K, depending on experience

The Experience Required
You will be required to have several years' experience as a Site Manager in housebuilding with a proven track record of running sites from out of the ground through to completion and handover. SMSTS, CSCS Managers Card & First Aid are minimum requirements.
You must have the ability to motivate and manage subcontractors and a team of staff, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, an eye for detail and build quality, good working knowledge of NHBC Standards and be able to work under pressure to meet build programme and deadlines for handover.
