Social Housing Contractor looking for experienced and flexible Site Managers to join their growing team to work on projects across the UK.
My client is an established national social housing contractor, with a Head Office based within the North West who specialise in refurbishment and maintenance works.
Due to an increase in workload are looking to increase their staff and take on experienced Site Manager's to work on up-coming sites across the UK.
Future works will be across the North West, West Midlands, Wales and the South West.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
Requisition of materials;
Managing a site team including Assistant Site Managers, Tradesmen, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officers, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget;
Updating the construction programme;
To build and maintain relationships with the client and tenants;
Monitoring health and safety on site;
Chairing and attending progress and client meetings as well as monthly cost meetings;
Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise.
The successful candidate MUST have a proven track record of working as a Site Manager within the Social Housing sector specifically with vast experience working on internal and external refurbishment works.
You must have a sound knowledge of Health & Safety on site and have good technical and commercial awareness. In addition, you MUST hold a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS and valid First Aid.
You must also be happy with working away from home during the week.
