My client are a regional Main Contractor in the North West, who specialise in Maintenance and Refurbishments to Commercial, Domestic, Public Sector & Social Housing properties.
They currently have a requirement for an experienced Small Works Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is due to an expansion in work load and recently being awarded several new contracts. You will be managing 4-5 projects in the Carlisle area.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
" Managing a team of Tradesman, supervising and monitoring their work " Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget " Monitoring health and safety " Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise " Supervising subcontractors quality of work " Promote and enhance the company image " Attend weekly staff meetings

The successful candidate must have previous experience working on small works (ideally refurbishment contracts) either on Social Housing or Commercial properties.
