We are looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Planner / Scheduler for a Social Housing contract based in Tamworth. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for a reliable and experienced Planner / Scheduler for their project in Tamworth.
Previous Planning / Scheduling experience and knowledge of Social Housing repairs and maintenance contracts is essential.
As a Planner / Scheduler your duties will include:
Point of contact for the customers, client and the operatives.
They will need to listen to the customers repairs and log them onto the clients system, Orchard, and diagnose the priority of the repair being logged.
They will then need to offer the customer an appointment whilst they are on the phone using a bespoke system, Impact.
The role will also involve managing the diaries for the operatives and re-arranging appointments if necessary.
They will also be responsible for raising any new jobs given to them via the supervisors after they have carried out site visits
Work well as a team but also be able to work on their own.
Be able to prioritise work load
Have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner
Handle high volume of calls
Be able to diagnose a repair/priority
Use the Nat Fed 6 to get the correct "SOR" for each job logged
Tamworth Borough Council system
Impact - bespoke system
Be computer literate
Be able to handle challenging situations i.e. from a concerned tenant
Have previous Planning experience
The role is a temporary to permanent position and the hourly rate is £10-£11 depending on experience
