We are looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Supervisor / Section Manager for a Social Housing Contract based in Grimsby. Our Client is a National Social Housing Contractor looking for a reliable and experienced Supervisor / Section Manager for their project in Grimsby.
The contract is a Reactive Maintenance & Voids contract, and you will be working alongside the Building Supervisor across both contracts.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for: Checking the quality of all Repairs & Maintenance Ensuring all works completed in the void properties is to standard First Line of command for all trades and labour on site Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are being followed Ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget Feeding back progress reports to the Management team
Applicants must have: A good working knowledge of SOR codes (Schedule of Rates) Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate (although this is not essential as we can arrange for you to do this on line prior to commencing with the Client) Clean driving licence High Level and understanding of Health & Safety requirements and procedures CSCS Card First Aid Certificate
In addition, candidates must have experience working within the Social Housing sector at a Supervisory level, preferably on Reactive Maintenance or Void contracts.
This role is to start with effect from end of March 2018 and is a temporary to permanent position. The rate is £17.00ph whilst you are working on a temporary basis and £26 - 32k depending on your skill set once you are taken on as a permanent employee with the Client.
