An extremely reputable 5* House Builder seeks to appoint a Technical Coordinator to work on various new developments around the Yorkshire region. Paying a competitive basic salary of up to £35k + attractive benefits package, the company pride themselves on building an excellent quality product.
Responsible for providing information and support to the Technical Department to enable regional objectives and targets to be achieved.
Provide support to Design and Engineering departments.
Provide full administrative support to regional site based operations for working drawings, ancillary details and technical information.
To coordinate and manage the issue of technical documentation.
Coordination of drawing issues and the maintenance of an efficient file management system.
Administration and programming of engineering design in accordance with local and national standards.
Coordination and control of expenditure of external consultants.
Provision of site set-up information.
Co-ordination of services infrastructure and negotiation of costs and agreements on schemes.
Provide assistance and support to allow discharging of planning and building control.
Recording of minutes for key meetings.
Must be able to manage external consultants and control external fees and expenditure.
Coordination of various specialist suppliers designs and integrate their requirements into the working drawing packages.
To liaise with NHBC to assist in the resolution of technical & design issues.
To register, resolve and monitor where appropriate site queries from production management to enable progressive product development.
Liaise with Regional Team in the development process. Liaise with Commercial to ensure the timely issue of tender documentation.
Liaise with Sales & Marketing regarding site brochure production.
Must be able to communicate well at all levels internally within the group and externally with public bodies.
Assist in the solution of Technical/ Design.
Should have a broad understanding of corporate vision and policies.
Work with the project team to ensure the most desired and economical decisions are made and implemented into the design.

The company pay are offering competitive pay, with a basic salary of up to £35k and a benefits package which consists of car allowance, 25 days holiday (+ statutory holidays) and pension.
Qualifications & Experience
A previous NHBC Award Winner would be of particular interest to our client
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
A degree/HNC in a related subject would be advantageous
