The company are a design & build contractor, building a wide range of traditionally built properties ranging from contemporary apartments to townhouses and traditional family homes, for first time buyers searching for an affordable new home to growing families, offering exceptional quality, style and value.
They are looking to appoint a Technical / Development Coordinator to assist them with a number of new developments throughout the North West region.
The purpose of the Technical Coordinator is to co-ordinate the design and technical processes and ensure that the company carries out its contractual responsibilities for co-ordination of construction details. You will also be managing the design information and input from subcontractors.
Other duties will include
Provide technical input to project appraisal/tendering processes
Attend Contract Launch meeting to agree accountabilities
Co-ordinate pre-start development process
Chair regular pre-start and design team meetings
Attend client liaison meetings throughout pre-start process
Process design information and maintain drawing registers
Provide technical advice as necessary
Review design and specifications for alternatives to provide added value
To be considered for the role of Technical Coordinator you will need the following skills and experience
Design experience from a design & build contractor - ideally house building
Currently / previously an Architectural Technician / Development Coordinator
Strong AutoCAD skills and ability to control documentations
Excellent IT skills
Full driving licence
