Technical Coordinator Cheshire This company are a quality four star house builder building beautiful new homes in highly desirable residential locations in the North West. With continued growth in the business, they now seek a Technical Coordinator to work within an established design team and drive the efficiency of the design process. The Role Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role of Technical Coordinator with plenty of AutoCAD experience to put to use in the development of standard details & house type drawings. You will be responsible for the following: " The Technical Co-Ordinator will be responsible in assisting in the development and preparation of all necessary drawings & documentation in respect of changes " Co-Ordinate information received from LABC Consultants, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors ensuring that relevant supporting information is uploaded and that dated information is archived as necessary. " Liaise and negotiate with Local Authority and other statutory authorities as appropriate to ensure that all Working Drawings, Standard Details and Construction Data is in full accordance with the relevant regulations " Attend internal departmental meetings to discuss workload and ensure that all information such as building regulation updates, relevant to details and specification is shared with the team. " Attend external site meetings on behalf of the project team, with colleagues, sub-contractors or organisations as may be required to ensure all centrally held data is relevant, up-to-date and meets current regulations and/or manufacturers details. " Operate AutoCAD to a high degree of proficiency for the preparation and ongoing management of House Type Working Drawings and Supporting Standard Details. " Have accurate working knowledge of relevant building regulations and standards, and alert to how any changes to building regulations will affect our plans, details and specifications. " Carry out individual & departmental administrative tasks as required in the support and correct functioning of the department and the administration of projects and associated matters. Candidate profile To be considered for the role of Technical Coordinator you will have the following background and experience " Qualification in Architectural Technology / Building / Construction " Background either with a house builder / public sector / building control " Ambition to progress into a Senior role " Ability to coordinate and liaise with multiple departments and authorities " Excellent time management skills " Full driving licence is required for this role Remuneration: up to £35,000 basic, Company car / allowance, pension, healthcare For further information please contact Mark Harrison at Bromak Recruitment.
