A busy Maintenance company seeks to appoint a Work Scheduler to join their team in Trafford. The company specialise in Social Housing refurbishment works, and you will be responsible for taking calls from tenants who have issues with their properties and scheduling engineers to complete works needed.
Duties will include:
Using I.T systems to provide a Help Desk support service
Monitor active dashboard and interactive planner at all times
Scheduling all work onto PDA's using the correct job lengths and within specified timescales
Scheduling work to contractors
Logging and following up of Emergency call out orders
Chase orders that are awaiting materials with Contracts Manager / Quality Manager/Contractors
Rescheduling of Follow-on orders and updating the Clients
Monitoring/acknowledging/reschedule rejected works from subcontractors/SPS offices
Applying for work extensions with the Client
Updating Impact with relevant notes
Liaising with Contracts Manager regarding orders nearing Completion Target
Monitoring orders to ensure completion within specified target
Deal with all telephone planning enquiries
Support of contract and admin staff
Deal with internal and external communications and record and/or report information as necessary
Ensure Contract/Own KPI's are met
Any other duties as deemed necessary to meet business needs
Ensure all information (written and verbal) is legible, accurate and recorded or passed on to the appropriate person on time
Continuously develop your own learning and development
Attend meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary
To apply for this role you must have previous experience in a similar role working in a team environment and dealing with tenants on a daily basis. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations and work to tight deadlines.
This is a minimum 12 week position, potentially longer for the right person. The hourly rate is £11.20 ph (umbrella rate).
