In 2019, Bromak registered over 1200 new permanent vacancies in the construction industry.
The roles we registered varied in levels of seniority; from entry to manager grade. We registered the roles with a broad range of clients across a range of sectors.
Here are our Top 10 most registered roles of 2019 and a short description of what each one does.
141 permanent Site Manager vacancies
A Site Manager will have overall duty for all on-site activities. Site Managers could look after a whole site or part of a project and report to a more senior manager.
They will monitor progress, oversee the delivery of materials and carry out health & safety checks. They will always also keep in touch with members of their site team, architects, engineers, surveyors and planners.
Average salary: £32,000 – £55,000
141 permanent Home Sales Executive vacancies
A Home Sales Executive will meet and greet potential new customers in the sales office. They will also seek to understand their requirements while providing great customer services to all existing owners. They are responsible for progressing reservations through to exchange.
Average salary: £18,000 – £24,000 + commission
90 permanent Quantity Surveyor vacancies
A Quantity Surveyor is responsible for identifying the costs and managing the budget of a building project. Therefore, they will seek to minimise the costs and enhance value for money of the project. Whilst also ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements and regulations.

64 permanent Assistant Site Manager vacancies
The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for assisting the site team with the completion of a project. They will work closely with the Site Manager so that the team completes the project under the agreed plan and programme.

35 permanent Contracts Manager vacancies
A Contracts Manager will look after several sites so therefore has all the Site Managers of those sites reporting to them. They will oversee projects from the start through to completion; ensuring that work is completed on time and within its budget. Health and safety issues are also a top priority in this role, as will managing client expectations.

A Customer Care Manager will lead a team of customer service staff. They will provide and promote excellent customer service throughout the organisation and ensure that service standards are being met.

An Estimator will analyse data and estimate the money, materials, labour and time that will be required for a project. So that they can recommend how costs can be reduced. They will also keep records of estimated and actual costs throughout the project.

22 permanent Project Manager vacancies
A Project Manager leads a team of managers to deliver a project from the pre-construction stage through to completion and handover.
They will look after the coordination of planning & programming and monitor the effectiveness site team. They will also be expected to build working relationships with the design team, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Average salary: £40,000 – £70,000
18 permanent Administrator vacancies
An Administrator will complete administrative tasks on time. Their day to day duties will vary depending on which department they work in. Typical duties will include preparing and organising relevant paperwork, managing online systems and handling incoming calls.

A Tenant Liaison Officer will update the tenants on work that is being carried out. They will also make the residents aware of when there will be noise, dust or out of hours working in the area. Attending meetings with the client so that they can report any complaints to resolve. They must also ensure that the tenant is involved in some of the decisions such as the design.
